Statement of personal philosophy regarding mediation:
I believe that the parties themselves are best equipped to find a resolution to their dispute. My job is to help them define the issues, to assure that they exchange the information needed to allow them to make an informed decision, and to offer contructive options for a solution to the dispute. After each session I prepare a summary of the agreements reached, the issues remaiming open and the additional information which needed from each party.

A copy of the summary is provided to the attorneys involved, if any. This allows us to track our progress and provides a starting point for the next meeting.

Experience:

• Twenty-six years as a lawyer practicing primarily in family law.
• Ten years as a mediator in family law matters.

• B.A. St. John's University 1975
• J.D. University of Wisconsin 1978

Recommended preparation for mediation:

• For marital dissolution proceedings, I will send you a financial disclosure form to be completed before the first mediation session.
• For post-decree matters, I will ask for copies of all the relevant court orders and motion papers in advance of the first mediation session.

Fee schedule:
